A long-wear formula with Chil Rose Oil strengthens, moisturizes and protects nails from chipping and cracking. Dries fast and applies evenly without streaking. La Laque Couture is equipped with a custom-made brush that allows an easy and fast application. The nail lacquer perfectly adheres to the brush that pulls the drop instead of pushing it for a flawless and intense result.
Packaging:
The light golden coloured polish comes packaged in a rectangular shaped glass bottle. It has a round, self-designed, black coloured, good quality plastic cap cum applicator. This bottle has a golden coloured outer cap, which has ‘YSL’ printed over it in a black coloured font. This elegant-looking bottle comes packaged in a rectangular, golden coloured, cardboard box; it has details mentioned in a black coloured font. The black and gold theme makes the packaging elegant and appealing. The packaging is travel-friendly.
My Experience with YSL La Laque Couture Nail Polish 29 Dore Orfevre:
I have been experimenting with nail polishes from different brands. All are unique in their own ways. This time, I bought two nail lacquers from YSL. Today, I will be sharing my views about the shade 29 Dore Orfevre. As mentioned above, dore means gold and orfevre means goldsmith.
As the name suggests, it’s a golden shade. It’s a unique, light gold shade with mild shine. The polish’s texture is velvety and creamy. It is nicely pigmented – two coats give an opaque finish to my nails. This shade suits my pigmented fingers well. The polish lasts three days on my nails without chipping or wearing out.
It applies smoothly and evenly. The design, shape and size of the brush are perfect for smooth and even application. The brush does not spread the product to the cuticles and sides of the nail bed. At times, my nails get covered in just one swipe. It does not take much time to dry in between coats. These lacquers are enriched with Chilean rose bush and extracts of corallina which is a very good source of calcium.
This is indeed a good treatment for brittle nails as it helps to fortify and protect them. This shade is appropriate for special occasions but can be used otherwise too. I like applying this shade on my finger nails and prefer using it for special occasions and evening outings.
