Burundi President, Pierre Nkurunziza has signed a decree shifting the parliamentary and local council elections by one week to June 2 following the political crisis gripping tthe country according to his adviser.
Willy Nyamitwe told Reuters that Nkurunziza made the decision following recommendation by the election commission and requests for postponement from opposition parties and International Community.
