My Experience with Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Back Spray:
I generally like products by Boots Pharmacy. Boots is UK’s pharmacy-led health and beauty retailer. They have a wide range of skin care and beauty products. ‘Tea Tree and Witch Hazel’ is one of their many ranges from the skin care category. This range has multiple products – some of the bestsellers being the face wash and charcoal face mask.
I have been having an issue with back acne and redness for quite a while now. My regular bathing products did not seem to help the issue, so I thought of buying this spray for some relief and prevention, if possible. The Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Back Spray is an anti-bacterial spray. It was available in 2 sizes: 150 ml and 100 ml. The bigger one turns out to be more economical.
The product comes in a clear spray bottle with the “Tea Tree & Witch Hazel” theme packaging of cool greens. The bottle is a regular plastic one with a spray nozzle on the top. The bottle is light and not too bulky, which makes it convenient and the spray function makes it hygienic to use. Overall, the bottle seems sturdy and the cap closes tight, making it your perfect travel companion as well.
The product is a clear colourless liquid as good as water. On spraying at the back, the first thing you notice is the strong medicated smell but also the instant cooling effect. It feels very light on the skin and spreads easily all over the back. The liquid takes a few minutes to dry. After application, it gives an instant soothing effect and stops the itchy feeling on the skin. This effect lasts throughout the day. I was so happy to see the results on day 1 itself.
The directed usage is to spray directly onto clean skin and hold at the distance of 15-20 cm. After the skin clears, continue to use for preventative care. It does get washed off quickly and easily too. On regular use, the skin feels healthy and the spray helps with the back acne scars as well. It also helps avoid further acne and boils on the back, especially in summers. I would totally recommend this spray to those who have such skin issues. It is recommended for other body areas too since some people have a lot of acne/boils in those parts as well.
