A convicted killer has absconded with two other inmates from a prison in Derbyshire.
Lewis Daniel Thornton, 29, who has been convicted of manslaughter, left HMP Sudbury alongside Daniel Gerald Ferris, 30, and Rory Allen, 33, on Saturday, December 5, according to Metro UK.
HMP Sudbury, near Ashbourne, is a Category D jail, meaning inmates there are considered a low-security risk.
Police have issued an urgent appeal for information on their whereabouts and warned people to stay away from them.
Thornton, 29, was convicted of manslaughter in 2016 at Wolverhampton Crown Court. He is 6ft 2ins and has blue eyes, brown hair, and tattoos saying 'RIP cobra' on his right wrist, and 'Angel' on his left arm.
